Lakota Technical Solutions, Inc. has immediate need for an Algorithm Developer to support the development of automated techniques for exploitation of acoustic information. This engineer will be responsible for:

• Developing algorithms associated with active and passive sonar detection as well as other Undersea Warfare systems
• Mathematical modeling and simulating proposed algorithms
• Applying advanced engineering theories, methods, and research techniques to investigate and solve complex technical problems

• BS with 5 years experience or MS with 2 years experience in Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of methods for target feature extraction and characterization using data from 1 or more sensors
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Mathematica or similar statistical computing packages
• General knowledge of high-level software languages (C, C++) used for real-time applications
• Ability to document and communicate technical information
